If the data compress's well this is perfectly viable.

Yes your cable phone will help a lot, bt lines suck ass!!! I've had em out to change
the line twice in the past 2 months ;-) Seems ok at the moment, for how long,
who knows. It degrades, it crackles it crosses, I give it a month before I'm back to
thinking 9,600bps is a good connection. (when it was bad I got a 3,000 bps conection
once!!!!)

And sorry to break the bad news but you don't connect at 115200, that's just the speed
the computer talks to the modem at. On a 56k modem 56k is the best you'll get, and
you'll have to have a great line (ie cable) to do that!! Me I get 48k and am happy!
115200 is possible with 2 modems / phone lines and the right software!!!!
I used to get connection reported as 115200, but that was cause I used generic drivers
and not drivers for my modem. (and I'm talking windows here)

I want a megabit connection NOW!!!!!!

Oh well Just have to wait till I go to work monday I spose ;-)

Kyle.
